From Naples with Love
'PlainMorsels' started with a bustling dream: to deliver real Neapolitan pizza to Rome. Created by the Rossi lineage in 1985, our pizzeria was once a quaint, family-directed venture with age-old recipes passed down for generations.
Marco Rossi, our progenitor, mastered the craft of pizza creation while journeying across Italy, apprenticing with revered pizza chefs in Naples—the pizza's homeland. After her return to the UK, she was determined to replicate the wonders of true Italian pizza, holding true to long-established techniques and the highest quality materials.
Our pizzeria, initially a humble abode with 12 seats, has now flourished into a cherished local hallmark, yet our zeal for excellence and genuineness stays steady. We persist in employing traditional wood-burning oven methods, preparing our dough from scratch daily, and selecting elite ingredients.
Nowadays, 'PlainMorsels' is still a family treasure, managed by the later generations of the Rossis, with our dedicated team. Although we've embraced fresh improvements, our core principle endures: to serve delectable, authentic pizza that gathers folks together.
